These vessels are inspired by hares seen running in the fields in the beautiful East Anglian countryside. Nicky uses a special recipe black engobe at the unfired stage, which then results in a pleasing variety of glaze reactions highlighting the stencilled hares. Decorative wall art hares are also available in a variety of sizes & finishes, using either rich cobalt or underglazes to highlight delicately embossed & sculpted details.
